WOMEN CELL
The Women Cell of Moran Commerce College constituted in order to maintain a harmonious atmosphere at the institute and enable women to pursue their work with dignity and reassurance. Keeping this concept in mind Moran Commerce College had formeda Cell as Women Cell on 17th February 2022. The Cell has both students and faculty of the college as its member and work with an aim to create a gender sanitized community within and outside the campus.

Tree plantation activities in Majhi Gaon in collaboration with Gaon Pradhan Chakalia Gaon and Pithubar Girls Degree College.
Remark
This programme was organized on the occasion of “INTERNATIONAL WOMANS DAY”.The meeting was presided by MrsIveelata Chutia, Principal i/c of Moran Commerce College along with Gaon Pradhan of Chakalia Gaon, Mr Padmaraj Borah. In this meeting all the members of Women Cell of Moran Commerce College, Pithubar Girls Degree College, and the villagers. Here the speakers tried to create awareness about tree plantation and its benefits among the villagers.small plants were distributed among the and ask them to conserve it.The program specially gave emphasis on “CREATING GREEN ENVIRONMENT”.

Free Health Camp was held in Collaboration with NSS MCC unit and Gaon Pradhan Chakalia Gaon.
Remark
The camp was held in Moran Commerce College Campus. The camp was inaugurated by Mrs. Iveelata Chutia, Principal i/c of Moran Commerce College with Gaon Pradhan and coordinator of NSS unit.Doctors and Nurses of Khowang PHU had carried on the health camp smoothly. Dr. Ghanashyam Sonowal, Dr. Tapapriya Das and Dr. Mahfuja Khatun had provided free service to all the patient and gave them medicines.
