GENERAL STANDARD

The Department of General Standard launched its journey in 1995-96 i.e, from the establishment of the college in 1993, under the visionary leadership of Late Ram Kumar Agarwala, the Founder Principal of the college.

The course began under the able guidance of– Sri Manoranjan Sharma (founder faculty member), Sri ManojKr. Sahu (founder faculty member), Sri Ajay Sahu, Sri Pradeep Goswami, Sri Mohesh Rajkhowa and Sri Sohanlal Yadav.

The department obtained its approval for General course in commerce from the very beginningof the College.

Its objective was to promote commerce discipline along with work ethics, professional expertise and leadership in all spheres of life. This department created a stimulating environment for the growth of its students.

OBJECTIVES

The main objective of the department is to provide an opportunity to the students to acquire knowledge and skills onGeneral Standard papers.

To achieve as a Centre of Excellence for assuringthe quality of education by developing the necessary human resources and put consistent effort that lead to contribute for the improvement of society and the growth of the country.

To incorporate extensionactivities in order to enhance social responsibility among the students.
To impart knowledge in both theoretical and practical fieldstothe students in order to enable them in enhancing academic and professional capabilities and develop theiranalytical perspective.
