MARKETING MANAGEMENT

OBJECTIVES

     The main objectives of the department are to provide an opportunity to the students to acquire knowledge on Marketing Management specialization and the Management papers for both Honours and Non Honours students.

VISSION

     To develop the institution into a excellence hub for teaching and learning, which will culminate in a programme that students would aspire for their first choice for Marketing Management.

MISSION

  • To build a conceptual foundation in the area of marketing and motivate them to take it as a career path.
  • To develop the students in their marketing skills.
  • To promote self employment through Entrepreneurship skills.

DEPARTMENT HISTORY

     The department of Business Management was established in the year 2002, in the pursuance of the decision 253rd meeting of executive council, Dibrugarh University. Initially the department provide Honours in Business Management. From the introduction of semester system in the year 2011, the department is providing Specialization in Marketing Management.
