The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. It provides opportunity to the student youth from 11th standard to Post Graduate level to take part in various government led community service activities &programs.Moran Commerce College came under this scheme in the year 2014 and accordingly the NSS Unit was formed. Since then it has been rendering its service in the fields of community upliftment and creating mass awareness. The volunteers have exhibited great commitment in organizing various awareness camps regarding health and hygiene, education, pollution, superstition, right to vote etc in and outside the college campus.Under these scheme various important days such as world Environment day, International Yoga Day etc are being observed.
