Anti Ragging Cell
We all have united, and have always stood by the anti ragging policies and we feel and believe that the ragging culture is a shame not only for the College but also for the society. Hence, to hold strong opposition in this regard, we have formed anti ragging cell. Anti ragging Cell should be one of the important parts of Educational Institutions. As per the guidelines of UGC under the Act of 1956, which is modified as UGC regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in higher Educational Institutions,2009 establishment of Anti Ragging Cellstandscompulsory.
Objectives
1.To make the students aware of dehumanizing effect of ragging inherent in its perversity.
- To keep a continuous watch and vigil over ragging so as to prevent its occurrence and recurrence.
- Promptly and stringently deal with the incidents of ragging brought to the notice.
- To generate an atmosphere of discipline by sending a clear message that no act of ragging shall be tolerated and there will be no excuses for those involved.

Functions
As per the direction of University Grant’s commission the Anti Ragging Cell observed Anti Ragging Week from 12th August to 18th August 2023. The observation witnessed various prescribed activities to create awareness against this social malice.
